After taking a year off, we are bringing back one of our early scents, La Forêt de Liguest, on Saturday, November 4 through December 31. This modified fougère is darker and richer than TSM Fougère, with cypress and rose highlighting this distinctive scent inspired by the woods that one of the founders of Saint Louis, Pierre Laclede Liguest envisioned would one day become our fair city. 

This will be available in an eau de toilette fragrance, aftershave, toner, salve, and...a soap from the next need-to-know soapmaker, Storybook Soapworks! They make an amazing product and their brand is amazing for the literary-minded among us, or even just those who just enjoy a great tale. Make sure you check out their soap not only in the La Forêt de Liguest scent, but their two new permanent additions to their lineup, including one inspired by the work of Saint Louis' T.S. Eliot.

Every year, the website Damn Fine Shave raises a lot of money for Movember's men's health charities through raffles (and check them out, as there will be Chatillon Lux goodies, including Rose Santal salve, included), but this year we are honored to be creating a limited edition barbershop scent in aftershave, toner and salve for the efforts. 

It will be called Clamorgans, named after the barbershop and men's tonsorial store frequented by Ulysses S. Grant, Thomas Hart Benton, and Stephen Douglas. The date will be announced soon, but we are shooting for a mid-November released. The scent is still being finalized, but it will be fresh and citrusy with warmer undertones. Look for an announcement in the next week.
