Once again this spring and summer, we will be featuring our seasonal scent, Colonia Balsamica. Back by popular demand, this is based on a traditional Italian Colonia scent with some twists inspired by Saint Louis’ Italian neighborhood, The Hill.

This neighborhood, home to many immigrants from Lombardy and Sicily, is where baseball Hall of Famers Yogi Berra and Joe Garagiola grew up down the street from renowned broadcaster Jack Buck. In the midst of beautifully manicured yards and bocce ball courts, the neighborhood features many amazing restaurants, both unassuming and high-end fancy, that serve traditional Lombardi and Sicilian cuisine. Before they made the major leagues, these two future stars bussed tables to help out with their blue-collar families.

 Colonia Balsamica takes the luxurious Colonia scent and adds an herbal, grassy twist as a tribute to the hard-working families of the neighborhood who wanted to provide an opportunity for their children to achieve the American dream.

This scent will be available until La Quatrième Ville returns to the lineup this fall.
